The BC team is lead by Rosana Brien. Originally from Barbados, she worked in the family hotel business there. Then after living in London, England for a number of years and working at the Barbados High Commission and Board of Tourism, Rosana moved to Canada with her husband in 1998. She is often asked why stay in Canada and not Barbados - and her answer is simply, “I just love having four seasons – spring through to winter – and the beauty of the West Coast ... and of course, my wonderful Canadian husband!”.
Since coming to Canada, she has worked with a Victoria-based firm in the print and online media involved in advertising and marketing for international and domestic student recruitment in Canada and the USA. With a passion for travel, the Internet and online media, Rosana and the mybritishcolumbiainfo.com team are committed to expanding BC’s global presence, providing a valuable platform of information for visitors and international travellers who wish to explore Vancouver and the surrounding regions.
